March 2025- Asma is officially a Ph.D. candidate after completing her qualifying presentation over 3D Tumor-Mimicking Phantom Models for Assessing NIR-I/II Nanoparticles in Fluorescence-Guided Surgical Interventions. Good job Asma!

February 2025- Prof. Srivastava was featured in The Daily Toreador for our AHA Institutional Research Enhancement Award- supported research to develop nanosensors for atherosclerosis detection and surgical interventions.
February 2025 - Isabella won the 'Overall Top Winner' award, and Asma won the 'Best Poster' award at the TTU WCOE Research Day 2025, out of 100 poster competitors. Big Congrats!
February 2025 - Asma and Nate’s 3D Tumor-Mimicking Phantoms paper is now live on Biorxiv. Congrats!
February 2025 - The Srivastava Lab will be showcasing some of our ongoing research efforts at the WCOE Research Day! Dr. Srivastava will be giving an oral talk on our protein-coated afterglow nanoparticles and Bella, Asma, and Hasnat will be giving poster talks on their respective research projects.

Nate and Isabella received the Outstanding Undergraduate Researchers award, while Dr. Srivastava was honored with the Outstanding Faculty Mentor award.
